Rhagades in particular often require the inner surfaces of the rhagade to be filed out. Conventional caps or large instruments can’t reach far enough in this case. The tapered-tip Hybrid TWISTER can! The tapered head allows you to work precisely in the depth of the rhagade. Without having to change instruments, you can work on the surface of the surrounding callus directly by using the parallel working part. This simplifies your work procedure, reduces the necessary instrument changes and thus the reprocessing work.

In addition to the treatment of rhagades, the tapered-tip Hybrid TWISTER is also well-suited for local cornifications, such as on the tips of the toes or the treatment of corns.

The diamond instrument range without a diamond coated front end of the working part for safety treatments.

Due to the smooth, uncoated diamond frond end an abrasive finishing on callus or nail plates can be made without unintentional contacts. A safety bevel at the transition to the diamond-coated exterior ensures that the instrument does not leave any undesired traces even when it is held at an angle.  This allows the user to work safely and accurately on the part of the foot to be treated.  The dia-mond instrument 840S is available in fine and medium grit.

The new diamond instrument 840T TOP Grip is ideal for shortening nails. To prevent the surrounding tissue from being touched or injured while working, the front of the Top Grip is provided with a diamond coating. The outer surface is smoothly polished and the edge between the side and front end of finished with a safety bevel. The instrument is particularly recommended when treating high-risk patients. It can be used in both the wet and the dry technique, and is available in medium and fine grit.

The tried-and-tested BUSCH cutters X and FX (medium X cut / fine X cut) are not new. New are the L type cutters with these cuts. To make sure the easily manageable and convenient carbide cutters are available to left-handers as well as to right-handers, the series now includes 6 left-handed cutters in two figures, two ISO sizes in the cuts X and FX. The polygonal working part of the ONY CLEAN 407RS guarantees a safe and gentle treatment without injury, for it – unlike all other rotary instruments – does not have any sharp cutting edges.  Such gentle treatment is a particular advantage especially for diabetic patients.  Cutters and especially diamond instruments would leave an undesirable rough surface on the nail when used for this application.
